Class-9 & 10

Great news for students! CBSE has just shared how students can pass their Class 10 and Class 12 board exams in 2024. For Class 10 and 9, you need a total of 33 marks out of 100. This means you should get at least 33 marks together from the theory part (which is out of 80 marks) and the practical part (which is out of 20 marks).

Let's make this clearer with an example. Imagine you score 19 marks out of 20 in the practical part of math and 14 marks out of 80 in the theory part. According to the new rules, you will be considered as having passed. This change is meant to help more students pass their exams by looking at both theory and practical skills.

CBSE understands that students have different talents. Not everyone is great at theory, but they might be really good at practical things. This new approach gives credit to those practical skills and gives students a fair chance to succeed.

So, in simple words, CBSE is making it easier for you to pass your exams. You need a total of 33 marks out of 100, combining both theory and practical marks. This way, more students can do well and move forward in their studies.

Class-11 & 12

CBSE has just shared the new rules for passing Class 11 and Class 12 exams in 2024. It's a big deal because these rules explain how students can successfully finish these important exams.

For these classes, CBSE has a fair way to decide if a student passes. They look at both theory (which is like regular studying) and practical (which is about doing things) parts. To pass, a student needs at least 33% marks in both theory and practical separately.

Here's an example: If there's a theory paper out of 70 marks, the student should get at least 23 marks. And for a paper out of 80 marks, they need 26 marks to pass. In practicals, they must score 7 out of 20 in one subject and 10 out of 30 in another.

This is a good thing because it shows that CBSE cares about all kinds of skills – both knowing things and doing things. It's like saying, "Hey, we know you're good at different stuff, and we value that." So, now students can feel confident that their practical skills matter just as much as their regular studies.
